| The outcrop of the Sanyi fault zone in the Shanghu area, Miaoli County (256430/2733620). The separation of the Fault A is up to 3m. Its hanging wall is overridden upon the lateritic terrace deposits. The deformation zone mostly weathered as laterites extends in range of 40-90 cm. The Fault B has slipped along the strata about 40 cm away. |
The deformation of fault zone in the Lichi Formation can be classified into four main types, including fault core, breccia zone, fracture zone and wallrock. |
The outcrop which is near the Muken area in the Taitou County reveals that the fault separates the layers of the siltstone and the mudstone. |
